i dont know how far along everyone is in ogame but as it stands i have the option of building a roket silo but am afraid i see no real need for it at the moment does anyone have any thoughts on roket silos in general to help me decide.
also what are the better ships battle ships cruisers or destroyers.
Any feed back would be much appreciated

I would not buy a rocket silo at this point, no real reason. On the subject of ships it goes Destroyer, Battleship, Cruiser, however there is a significant cost difference between them all and you need much more technology to get a battleship or Destroyer. I am currently trying to research my final engine to be able to build battleships but it is proving very difficult to get all the necessary resources at the same planet together

hmmm nothing will ever end in this game will it and some of the research should because it becomes obsolete. Seriously though will the madness never stop my robotics factory costs 200000 metal and 100000 deuterium and lot of crystal too im afraid that is a bit more than i can seem to amass but oh well.

There is no real limit as everything still has a worth. Things like laser technology would not appear to have any value but they just add extra power to your lasers. The same applies to engines etc, they just make you travel faster

wow that sucks the same guy attacked me with 40 then 35 then 30 battle ships one right after the other... funny thing is the first fleet got destroyed the second was more succesful though, and the third was obviously un stoppable... wow i lost sooo much deuterium

You need to fleetsave. That way your resources are never in one place long enough for you to lose a significant amount of them. I have a massive fleet in uni 6 that just treks around carrying about a million in resources.

Well i have just started the game and have joined uni 12, and yes i agree it is damn addictive, only thing that gets to me is the time that things take to bulid, the amount of engery need to run things, but the amount of time, i just want to get on with things, but apart from the silly moaning of an old man, ITS GREAT!!!!!!!!
